MB : Gigabyte GA-EP43-DS3L

CPU : Intel E8400 3GHZ

RAM : 2x KITS CM2X2048-8500C5D (8GB total - 4 sticks)

BIOS SPECS :

CPU CLOCK RATIO 9X

CPU FREQUENCY 3.00GHz (333X9)

MHC FREQUENCY LATCH = ?

SYSTEM MEMORY MULTIPLIER = ?

MEMORY FREQUENCY = ?

CAS LATENCY TIME = ?

TRCD = ?

TRP = ?

TRAS = ?

DRAM VOLTAGE = ?

I have 2x kits one v2.1 2.10v and one 2.2 2.10v

I am encountering a lot of BSOD's and i think the problem is in the bios configuration.

I have read on these forums that for a memory to run in 1066 frequency there are some adjustments to be made to the CPU , and didn't quite understand how its done . So , if you guys could help me a lil and tell me if there are some problems between the two kits 2.1 and 2.2 and if u could tell me what values should i put in bios . Thanx in advance .

Set the following settings

BIOS SPECS :

MEMORY FREQUENCY = 800MHz

CAS LATENCY TIME = 5

TRCD = 5

TRP = 5

TRAS = 24

DRAM VOLTAGE = 2.1v

In order to get the memory frequency to 800MHz you will need to adjust the system memory multiplier to the correct value so the memory frequency reads 800MHz.

Tst 3 like 800 errors

Performance Enhace [Turbo] [stardand] [Extreme] - What should i choose here ? [Turbo] is current setting

Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P) [Auto] [Profile2] [Disabled] - ? Which one here ? [Auto] is current

(G)MCH Frequency Latch [Auto] [266/200/333/400Mhz} - ??? [Auto]

System Memory Multiplier (SPD) [Auto] [2.40B] <- current setting

CAS Latency Time 5

tRCD 5

tRP 5

tRAS 24

Dram Voltage 2.100V

I think Performance Enhace and Extreme Memory Profile (X.M.P) have something to do with these errors .
