TR3X6G1333C9 Asus P6t XMP fails.

As stated in the title, when I boot at any settings other that the default in relation to memory with TR3X6G1333C9 and Asus P6t, My system reboots upon applying changes when turning XMP on, then informs of an over clock failure and forces loading default settings.

Any reasoning anyone can think is the cause of this?

CPu-z/everest all identify this ram as 1333 memory, I can overclock the cpu to the ends of the earth, once i start doodling with the memory it goes down hill.
