RijoPage
Getting ready to buy the Corsair CMFSSD-128GB G2D - See lot of discussion here on firmware re: TRIM, etc. It'd be nice if, since the firmware was released December 21st, the SSD would come with the updated version. Thanks! Rijo
Wired
Pretty sure, however that doesn't prevent a store from having older stock on their shelves.
ed6698
I have bought 5 x64 ssds in the past month. 2 from Newegg 3 from Dell all 5 of them had the newest firmware 2.0 on them.
gigasmack
I ordered a P128 from NewEgg two weeks ago, the latest firmware was already installed.
Davyc
ASK the retailer you're buying from - if they don't know go somewhere else. If they say yes and it hasn't return it for a full refund, but get it in writing off them that the drive has the new firmware. SSD's are so expensive that older stock may be lying there for sometime ... also, use a reputable retailer with a clear and fair returns policy. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted March 8, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted March 8, 2010 Most drives on store shelves should have the latest firmware, as they have been in production since last October. However some are better at stock rotation that others so there is always a chance that some reseller might have a drive from an older lot.
