1badbob Posted March 7, 2010 Share Posted March 7, 2010 You need to change your cpu settings to make this ram run at 1600. Stock speed on the 965 phenom is 3400mhz probably 200fsb with a multiplier of 17.(thats what mine was) A fsb of 240 enables the memory to run at 1600 if you have the memory speed set to 1600 in your bios. A multiplier of 14 will slightly underclock the cpu at 3360, 14.5 overclocks slightly at 3480, 15 gives a overclock of 3600.
