theexbrit
Hi all, I have a self-built system that uses 2 gb of CM2X1024-10000C5D. I'd like to add 2 more gb in the spare slots on the mobo, my local store has some TWIN2X2048-6400 CL5 for a good price. Is this compatible with my current ram? Thanks. The problem is that the two kits use completely different ICs. This results in a mix which might end up with your system running unstably, if it even runs at all. theexbrit
Thanks for the advice, I guess I have to find some of the older ram or just get all new ram.
