Android
I have a new computer which i bought last week. My motherboard is Asus P7P55D. I have a 2 sticks of DDR3 CORSAIR 1333 VALUE DESKTOP MEMORY but I'm planning to upgrade to another 2 sticks of ddr3 Corsair memory but this time it's a different technology XMS3. My question is , if it's ok to put 2x2 gb DDR3 CORSAIR 1333 VALUE DESKTOP MEMORY and 2X2 Ggb DDR3 CORSAIR 1333 XMS3 TOGETHER?
Wired
There's no guarantee that 2 packs that haven't been packaged / tested together will work together. However, since you have Windows 7 (32 bit), it's useless to have more than 4 GB of memory.
Android
I'm Planning to upgrade to 64 bit for the first time in my life. I should have bought the one with the XMS3. anyway, is the Corsair DDR3 value desktop ram (without heat spreader ) good for gaming? Does a 64 bit OS could increase gaming performance? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 19, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 19, 2010 Yes the value modules will work for gaming. As far as the 64-bit OS and gaming it may increase performance slightly since all of the memory will be able to be addressed.
