swong
Around 3 weeks ago I installed and started using a Corsair X64 SSD Drive. The computer it was on was running Windows 7 Pro and was connected to a Gigabyte motherboard using the AMD 780G chipset. Last week, the computer froze and stopped responding. When I reset the computer, and error came up saying boot drive not found. When I went into the BIOS, the X64 was not showing anymore. I've tried rebooting a couple times and reconnecting the sata/power cables. I've also tried using the drive on 2 other different computers with Intel based motherboards, as well as a SATA to USB dock. None of these worked, the drive was still not detected. It seems to me that the drive is dead. Is all my data on that drive gone? What should I do now?
