Rex82
Hi, i regret to report that there is a slight leak in the unit. I know the picture doesn't show it properly but when I put slight pressure on the right tube, there is a very slight puddle/drop of water that rises where the tube meets the unit(at the "hinge"). The droplet recedes when there is no pressure or twisting of the tube. The unit is not leaking profusely, but i am worried that over time this could be a problem. May i request an RMA? http://img163.imageshack.us/img163/3775/slightleak.jpg
Synthohol
can you rotate the block clockwise a bit so there is not so much stress on the tubes? from the pic it looks like they are pretty stressed to the left. that could have caused the seal to leak. Rex82
I have my radiator sitting outside to the left of the case being supported by some boxes. As far as I can tell, that is the only position I can put it where the tubes will not be overly bent. Anywhere else it will either not mount or put too much stress on the tubing. The case is a Torture Rack btw.
Synthohol
as with any water cooling system, the first inch or so of tubing should be straight out to prevent stress.
Rex82
Thanks for the tip. This is what it looks like from afar. The tubes don't seem too bent. I could try rotating the radiator to the right and hang it off the case handle, but then I wouldn't be able to put the case cover back on. I would still like to request an RMA as I don't feel safe turning the system back on knowing that there is a slight possibility of leakage. http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/5034/image151k.jpg
Synthohol
ok thats not too bad, the first pic looked more extreme. the staff should take it from here :):
Rex82
Sorry if i made the tubes in the first picture look extreme. I just wanted to capture a closeup of the leak, but unfortunately my camera phone is all I have at the moment and it's pretty bad at capturing depth :(: Again, I don't want to alarm anyone. It's just a very tiny leak.
Yellowbeard
If there is ANY leak whatsoever, I'd suggest you RMA it using the link to the left. Stop using it immediately and get it replaced.

Rex82 Look at these images below, that's what Synthohol is trying to explain to you. Some water coolers might break if you stress the tubing like that. Corsair tubing is strong but still it shouldn't be that stressed. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/jojesa/corsair-water.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v219/jojesa/corsair-water2.jpg
Rex82
My tubing is in no way stressed like that as you can see in the second picture I posted. I apologize for the poor closeup I took as it exaggerated the angle. I will RMA ASAP.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 3, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 3, 2010 I would get the Unit replace and do not use it as it may cause damage to your system. As was previously suggested.
