masterficx
Hi to everyone, I'm new at this forum and a little bit newbie about Corsair memory modules... The thing is I have a Mo-Bo that is not listed in the memory configurator that is shown in this forum and I want to install a pair of corsair memory sticks the mobo is MSI K9A2GM V2 and the sticks I want to install are TWIN2X4096-8500C5 Currently running with AMD 7750 BE @ 3.3Ghz and KHX6400D2K2/2G a 2 x 1GB kit DDR2 800MHz Non-ECC CL5 running @ 5-5-5-15 1T from ******** I'm afraid of model incompatibility, but I REALLY want the XMS sticks and I don't wanna waste my money because I don't have any other system to use them in. Is there any way to find out that they will run ok at my system except trying them :)??? Thanks in advance P.S. I'm sorry for my english
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 28, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 28, 2010 Unfortunately when mixing and matching kits you can run into compatibility and stability issues. If you plan on running two kits you may need to show the memory speed down or relax the timings to improve stability.

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 9, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 9, 2010 Yes, your motherboard supports 1066MHz so those modules should be fine.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted February 9, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted February 9, 2010 No they should work fine but that MB only supports DDR800 natively so you may not be able to run them at DDR1066 with out some over clocking.
