Awillys
Hi, I can install windows XP but windows 7 won't install. Everytime i try to install win7 it goes to the 'windows is loading files' screen, then once files are loaded the computer restarts and start the install process again from scratch. I am not a Bios guru but reading at some of the forum post I set XMP profile and set my memory frequence to 1333Mhz. That did not help. is there any specific bios settings i should have or are my 12Gb (6x2)@ 1600MHz just not compatible. I have been trying to install since yesterday and now considering returning the mobo and changing it for another. Any tip to fix the above is appreciated. Any suggestion of an high end mobo that would work out of the box with my ram is also welcomed. Thanks A

Awillys
Hi, looks like the problem comes from somewhere else. Awillys
okay, the issue is resolved. Looks like I had to change the placement of one of the two videao card. Used to be in slot 1,3 which did not work. Now in slots 1,2 and all work well. Antonio
