Psychocandy
Hi! I've got the following System: * Asus P6T6 WS Revolution * Intel i7 920 D0 (no OC, just stock values) * 6x2GB Corsair Dominator TR3X6G1600C8D v3.1 (see below) * 1 WD Velociraptor, 2xWD Caviar 1TB (RAID 0), and other WD SATA and external USB drives * Windows 7 Ultimate x64 I bought the cpu, motherboard and memory kits about a month ago and built the computer myself. I am having a lot of BSOD when running the 12GB of RAM, most of them with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT messages. I know its difficult to run 12GB at 1600, so I started with slow values, and tried several configurations, but I kept getting random BSODs. A couple of days ago, I cleared the CMOS, dropped down the memory configuration to 1066, 9-9-9-24 2T, QPI 1.35v and bus voltage 1.66. All seemed ok for a couple of days, but this morning I got a BSOD again....... I ran memtest86+ for about 20 hours with 12GB, no errors. I also tested the two kits individually (6GB), with XMP profile 1, and everything was fine: no BSODs, no memtest errors, superPI ok, prime95 ok, gaming ok, etc., so I guess memories are fine. Any thoughts?? Thanks!
