OatmealMu Posted January 22, 2010 Share Posted January 22, 2010 I've run into a recent problem with my HX520W. It's begun to emit a light grinding sound. At first, it was intermittent, but now it's constant and seems to be gaining in intensity. I tried blowing out any dust using an air compressor. The sound keeps returning, unfortunately. Any advice? Corsair Employee RAM GUY Posted January 25, 2010 Corsair Employee Share Posted January 25, 2010 I would try loosening the 4 fan screws about a quarter turn and see if there is any improvement. If it's still too loud then lets get it replaced! You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it.
