TX750W, Urgent help!

Recommended Posts

Hello. I recently bought a (non oem) computer. It's a gaming machine, and I am really happy with it. The only thing that concerns me is the power supply. It's hard to explain but i'll try: About every two seconds or so, the PSU fan makes this noise. It's like the fan goes from low to high, making an uneven fan noise. For example, the fan is at 20% at one time, and in two seconds or so its at 100%. Kinda sounds like it sucks are in or something, whatever. So, Is this normal? One theory could be the power cable for my PC, when I bought it, I did not receive any power cable, so I used my playstation three's power connector. (three pin one, just like any of them..) I doubt this is the problem, but who knows :) So, please help me here, I don't want this stupid noise when I am gaming or surfing :(

The computer is NON OEM, I can do what I want with it.

I will try safe mode now, and reply soon. However, this problem

doesn't seem to do anything to my computer, since I run it for

hours and hours. Also, sometimes it does stop doing this. I will

open the case and see if they did something wrong.
