Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD5 with Intel Core i5 750 - memory

Hi,

 

I am getting the Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD5 with a Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz. This motherboard supports 1600MHz however, the CPU can only accomodate for 1333mhz.

 

I checked the compatibility checker and the GA-P55A-UD5 is not there.

 

I am trying to choose between the following two models of Corsair RAM:

 

CORSAIR CMD4GX3M2A1600C8

 

CORSAIR TW3X4G1333C9DHX

 

I have a feeling the first will be compatible, but what about the second? If I buy the first I know it will default to 1333mhz and I'll be able to set the timings to 7-7-7-20 (I think?).

 

I have read a lot of user reviews about the TW3X4G1333C9DHX saying it doesn't default to the advertised timings - rather 7-7-7-20 @ 1066MHz as opposed to 9-9-9-24 @ 1333MHz. Can I expect this to happen to me with my selected motherboard and CPU?
