rangatanga
Hi, I bought two voyagers 64GB, both secondhand from ebay, both in plastic wrap packed horizontally long about 10 cm, with accesories - cable, lanyard, etc. They do not seem to be a fake - passed h2testw, crystaldiskmark says seq read/write 24MBs/11MBs. But physically the rubber cover looks very thin and loose. They are stick labels on the back side (ASSY IN TAIWAN) but there are another stickers beneath the plastic cover - with different numbers and ASSY IN CHINA is written there. Im attaching actual pictures of the packs. On metal part of first usb there are these codes 09376039-0/G64G EG2990189 and these on the second usb 09396014-0/G64G EG29A0076. Thanks for the reply Michal

rangatanga
But there is one -for me curious thing - I can easy fold down the rubber cover from the metal top and see what is inside although voyager should be waterproof. As well as when pressing it in the middle there is some airspace between the rubber and electronics inside. Is that normal? Another similar´rubber drives I´ve seen (not corsairs) seemed to have been much more solid. Thanks Michal
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 19, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 19, 2010 In This case is might be possibly be fake if the inside of the drive seems to be half empty. Are you able to take it out of the casing and take a couple pictures of the actual PCB and the chips on the board?

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 19, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 19, 2010 I would simply have it replaced by us. This looks to be real for what I can tell from the pictures. Let's get it replaced, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
