Z Overlord
Similar to dial up, then different ones like tearing sounds, sounds that happen every time I move the mouse, etc. It also happens when much stuff is plugged (more drives) in or a game starts up (sometimes) It's an HX850w psu After sometime it does go away but it happens everyday now (used to not) Do SSD's make noise btw? Cause it's been extra bad since then yet the sound is coming from the psu.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 18, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 18, 2010 Please try the fixes listed in this thread: http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=75330 If you still have problems and it looks like the PSU may be causing the noises, then we can definitely try replacing the unit for you. You can use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. Be sure to check the box that says “I've already spoken to Technical Support and/or RAM Guy.”
Z Overlord
I'll try them out but I have one question When my pc falls asleep, it immediately goes back on (the noise is is more violent when it does this) Sometimes if I load an app or extra HDD it does that extra loud one too. Is that anything that points out of a for sure failure?
