edfiii
I have the same problem you have the only difference is that my system used to work and after 11 months stopped working. System will run with any combination of 2 sticks but when I add a third when booting get a blue screen and reboot. My son has identical system tried his mem in mine and would not work and mine would work in his. tried my hard drive in his and boots up fine. I'm starting to think it is a motherboard problem. Anyone have any ideas?
Yellowbeard
Can you swap CPUs to verify that you do not have a weak or failing memory controller?
edfiii
Thanks for the info never thought it could be the CPU I don't have an extra CPU laying around but will ask my son if he will let me take his out of his perfectly working system that by the way has 2 6GB kits installed. If he lets me I will let you know. Ed
