alchipmunk Posted January 12, 2010 Share Posted January 12, 2010 This is my first post. I am about to make the switch to Win 7 64bit and I want to add more memory. I have 2 GB of 1800 MHZ and it runs great. Using the memory configurator, it says that I can use cmg4gx3m2a-1600c6 4GB 1600 MHZ. I realize that I will probably need to lower my bios settings down to 1600 MHZ. But can I use these modules together? Also the product description says the new modules are optimized for Phenom based systems. I'm sure I put the correct info into the memory configurator.
