jimlenz
I setup a ramdisk on my windows 7 64 bit machine using the latest dataram ramdisk product. I did 4gb and then setup the drive using temp folder, unformatted and save to ramdisk. I then went in and mounted and formatted the drive using ntfs and quick format. The drive appears. I reboot and the drive does not show up, I go back into computer management and I see the unformatted drive. Any ideas on what may be going on here? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 12, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 12, 2010 If you are using a third party program to create the Ram-Drive you will need to ask them how to auto create this every time the system posts or Boots. Remember a Ram Drive is only active while windows is running once you reboot it will be gone and need to be reactivated.
