H50 compatible with Asus P6X58D

It looks like I have a bit of a problem on my hands. I have an Asus P6X58D mobo for my new build and purchased an H50 for the cooling solution. When I go to install the bracket it appears that the capacitors around the socket do not leave clearance to install the bracket.

How do I solve this issue, or is the P6X58D on an incompatible list?

I dont know what they were thinking when they put those capacitors that close to the socket. It dont look like it would be easy even putting a regular hsf setup on there.:sigh!:

Atleast with asus amd boards you have to remove the stock black plastic hsf mount and theres plenty of room when its off.

Wait, I have a MSI GD80 and it has the capacitors in a similar layout (not my picture):

It fits perfectly. You to take into account that the mounting bracket is raised considerably. In fact it overhangs the capacitors to the left of the socket on my motherboard but does not interfere with them.

Have you tried to install the bracket yet to see if the caps hit or are slightly lower then the bracket?

The bracket fits. I own both the h50 and the mobo in question. Once you put those plastic pieces into the 4 holes on the bracket that holds down the pump/heatsink, the bracket will sit above the capacitors... not touching any of them. Just tested it myself 5 minutes ago :)
