sandman55
Hi my friend has bought an ASUS P5KPL-CM motherboard and he is looking at buying an Intel CPU core 2 duo E7500 2.93 gig with 1066 FSB. He has a separate graphics card I can find the details if needed and he is also considering buying Win 7 as the operating system. We would appreciate it if some one can give us some advice in selecting some ram for the rig to suit the MOBO and CPU we are looking at two sticks of 2gig each to give us 4 gig. We are a bit confused with the 1066 FSB of the CPU do we select 2 sticks with an 800 FSB? He is not an overclocker. Thanks for any help.
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 13, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 13, 2010 That MB does not give all of the over clocking options needed to run more aggressive memory so I would suggest one set of TWIN2X4096-6400C5 as the best choice.
