GA-P55A-UD4P Issue

I'm having an issue with a GA-P55A-UD4P and CMX8GX3M4A1600C9 (8gb kit). Keep getting random BSOD reboots. tried letting the bios auto detect the sticks (defaults to 1333), the XMP profile (shows them as 1600), as well as other bios settings and still experiencing random reboots. ran memtest86 and all sticks pass fine. have done extensive troubleshooting within windows (examining minidumps, changing drivers, etc) im thinking this ram may not be compatible with this board. will try a new kit of the same ram to make sure. any suggestions would be helpful.

Here is how i resolved my problem...

take note of Bilbat's post and craigusoz post. the instability with this corsair ram and the gigabyte boards seems to have to do with the CPU EIST / C1E / C3/6/7 / turbo boost support functions.

my problems were solved tweaking these bios settings. 100% stable now. was experiencing random BSOD on windows 7 x64. my board is GA-P55A-UD4R and my 8gb kit was CMX8GX3M4A1600C9. hope thats helpful.
