brianjgregory
Please can some kind person on the Forum explain how I can get the full 8Gb of my 2 x TWIN2X4096-8500C5 sets to run at 1066MHz on my Asus MA478 Pro based PC? The Asus forum is no help as it says that "due to AM2+/AM3 processor limitation the board can only support 1 PC8500 DIMM per channel". The system is rock-solid at Auto (800MHz) settings: but the (latest 1501 version) BIOS allows 1067MHz by manually altering RAM frequency. The BIOS also seems to over-report the voltage supplied to the DIMMs; which will not run at 2.17v setting. The M/B only allows 0.09v increments from 1.90v start point, & at reported 2.26 or 2.35v it will post & boot; BUT with sporadic BSODs saying things like: IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL and PAGE_FAULT_IN_NON-PAGED_AREA. If someone can tell me how to eradicate these BSODs I'd be really grateful.:confused:
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 14, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 14, 2010 I do not think you will ever get that to run at DDR1066 I would suggest DDR667 or DDR800 with 4 modules.
