Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 5, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 5, 2010 Please try and format the drive with the Format utility from the SD-CARD Organization. Then run the test again and see if that helps.
tmgp
it has improved: http://img229.imageshack.us/img229/501/67377861.jpg are these results acceptable now for the GT series? it as also improved in NTFS, although it's slower than FAT32, as we know, but the write speed is now of 12869, and the read speed of 21445
Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 5, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 5, 2010 That is a bit slow but I would still say its acceptable, replacing it may not improve it.
tmgp
are you referring to fat32 or ntfs? for fat it's ok for me, but if you think that the performance in ntfs can improve, then a replacement might be a good ideia. do you have any idea about the common results in write speed for ntfs? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted January 6, 2010 Corsair Employees Share Posted January 6, 2010 They are only tested on Fat32, with NTFS the results may be lower and less consistent. So the results you posted for Fat32 show it to be running O.K.
