Compatibility to not listed motherboard

I am looking for Memory card (kit) compatible to

Gigabyte motherboard GA-X58A-UD7

Intel processor i7-950 Quad Core

 

The list here : http://www.corsair.com/configurator/ does not show that motherboard type in list.

 

I am interested in the corsair 12GB kit, item: HX3X12G1600C9

Please let me know if compatible or what you recommend best

(minimum 12GB).

 

Can you tell whether Windows XP identifies all 12G

or another software is required?

I suppose Windows 7 ultimate 64bit does with no problem ?
