THD
So i have a pair of 2gb pc-8500 dominators. To get the perfect system oc to work I need to mess with the ram sticks, since they are limiting it a bit. So I'm wondering which maximum voltage is acceptable if I want them to last about 1-1.5 years of pretty heavy usage (though not 24/7). Would 2.5v kill them quick? At which voltage does it start to get ugly? Heat shouldn't be a problem, I have a dominator fan for them, and case ventilation is excellent. Yellowbeard
2.5v will probably kill them quickly and will most certainly void the warranty. Don't exceed 2.2v. Anything above that is going to generate mostly heat with little or no frequency gain.
