Beerpowered
I bought an H50 and a 120x38mm Ultra Kaze 3000RPM fan. I plan to use a fan shroud. I want to test different sized shrouds and post the results later. Airflow will go <--Tri Cool<--Rad<--Shroud<--Ultra Kaze Basically I am making a fan shroud from a spare fan. I am making one that is 25mm thick and 38mm thick. http://i22.photobucket.com/albums/b317/lythos/DSCN0486.jpg Only problem now is the screws aren't long enough. I don't know what the Thread size is and never bought screws before, plus I live in japan so I can't read the packaging very well. I estimate I will need 4ea of the following screw sizes and just want some confirmation. 6 x 32 x 1 3/4" (38mm+1/4") 6 x 32 x 2 3/4" (25mm+38mm+1/4") 6 x 32 x 3 1/4" (38mm+38mm+1/4") Any help regarding this matter is much appreciated. MJinZ
Go to a hardware store and tell them you need screws for: 6 x 32 x 1 1/4" Now, since you need much longer screws, I'm thinking 3" or more would be the ones to get.
