F-o-cus
Today I got a tx850w psu. my case has the supply unit on the bottom and the fan is on the bottom so i think it will overheat. is it ok to turn the psu upside down.? thanks
Wired
Yep, it'll work fine. Note that your case probably has vent holes at the bottom.
WilsuPT
Just like F-o-cus, I also have the same question. Should the PSU fan be facing downwards or upwards. In my case I have about 1 cm between the case bottom and the PSU and my case doesn't have vent holes. With de PSU fan upwards the intank air will be hot and harmful to the PSU? (Sorry my rusty English)

But my question is wich of the positions is better? Downwards with little (or maybe not) space between the PSU and the case bottom or Upwards with more space but sucking hotter air?? semitope
With the PSU fan upwards the Components in it aren't being pulled down by gravity from whatever they are attached to. I wonder if this is beneficial
