Faulty stick of CM2X2048-8500C5D - RMA

Recommended Posts

I purchased for my new bulid at the start of this year:

CM2X2048-8500C5D - 2 sticks = 4gb

4 gb of xms2 8500 the smaller ones as I needed them as my cpu cooler blocks the first slot.

So total 8gb, this has been working fine no problem at all, all four sticks running at 1066 at 2.1v on an asus m3a79t deluxe, then after about 6 months I started getting bsod's and random stuttering etc, ive checked everything else voltages, using stock settings and it's defiantly ram related.

So I ran memtest on each stick and one of the sticks is faulty, it produces tons of errors at the start or memtest until all the way through, I have tried it in different slots and different speeds and same result, it's defiantly the stick.

The stick is the CM2X2048-8500C5D, but because this came in a pair do I have to return both if the other is working fine?, I dont mind if I have to as I still have the box it came in.

I am in the UK, do I have to pay for shipping?.
