Hey,

I am getting crazy with my new rig.

I can't get them to work as they should.. I've set them to 5-5-5-15 and 2.1V but memtest freezes and/or gives errors.. I tried to set MCH to 1,388 and seemed a little more stable but still no good.. pc was freezing and gave me BSOD..

what else can I do?

it passed all test keeping the ram @800Mhz, but when I raise it to 1066 memtest freezes, system restarts and all that stuff.

I have bios 1.7 and from what I can see there is BIOS v1.9, should I update? I never did this kind of stuff so I'm not willing to take the risk.

If not, what settings should I adjust in the CELL MENU?

I tried with NB @ 1,388 / 1,400 , VTT @ 1,31, 1,28, never changed the memory voltage from 2,1V.. help!

Also, I found the original cover and it's TWIN2X4096-8500C5D G (this requires 2.1V right?)

Motherboard is: MSI P45 NEO3-FR Ver. 1.0..

okay.. I updated the BIOS, now I have the latest BIOS..

set the memory to 5-5-5-15 @ 2.1.. if I let all the others on "Auto", memtest only shows up as a blue screen, it doesn't even load.. now I've edited the MCH value to something like 1,308 and testing..

memtest freezes after 3 mins..

please HELP? Ram Guy?
