farva
Hi, I am going to order an ASUS p6x58D motherboard, and i have checked the memory configurator, which has the p6x58 motherboard but not the p6x58D. I know ASUS had this motherboard in the works for a while, as the p6x58, and then abandoned it. is that the motherboard it is reffering to? Does the D suffix mean anything? I just thought it was odd that such a new motherboard was listed so quickly, and that's why im asking. Also, I have seen where people have problems getting 2000 MHz ram to run at 2000 MHz. Will i have to overclock the CPU? or the ram? or both? if so can somebody plz point me to a guide to learn more about this. Thanks
Wired
Any memory in the Core i7 listing (basically any 3 / 6 stick pack) will work fine. Yes you'll have to do some OCing to hit 2000 MHz.
