Computer freezing with Corsair TR3X6G1600C8 and Asus M4A79XTD EVO

I'm trying to find out if I bought incompatible RAM for my motherboard, or if there's another issue.

When I boot up, it posts just fine. Once in Windows, it'll go through 2-3 freezes before it's finally 'stable' for a session of gaming (for instance, I gamed for 3+ hours last night with no problems). If the freeze occurs, it will do so within the first 5 minutes after starting up Windows 7, 64-bit.

It's running Memtest86+ right now and has come across the following two errors so far:

Test 5, Pass 8, Failing Address 0005cb792a0 - 1483.5mb, Good 00000000, Bad 10000000, Err-Bits 10000000, Count 1

Test 5, Pass 8, Failing Address 0005db79280 - 1499.5mb, Good 00000000, Bad 10000000, Err-Bits 10000000, Count 1

I love using Corsair brand, and would rather keep it in my system.

Thanks for any help,

-Eric

I tried using both the stock BIOS settings for the memory and manually input timings of 1600MHz, 8-8-8-24, and 1.66v (everything else set to Auto). The system would freeze under both conditions once Windows 7 came up.

No other changes to the BIOS have been made, and the latest version of the BIOS is running.
