star314
Hello! Yesterday, I bought a new Corsair X256 SSD and it seems to work well except one very annoying bug! I'm running Linux and the OS is not able to put the harddisk in the sleep mode, i.e., when I activate "supend to ram = standby" the system freezes/crashes. I've tried it on two different Linux distributions (Gentoo and Ubuntu 9.10) with the same result. I've also tried a standard 7200 RPM harddisk and a "Solid State Disk 2,5" S-ATA 160GB INTEL X25-M Postville 160G" and with these disks the standby option works perfectly. Only the X256 exhibits a broken suspend operation. Any suggestions? Kindly regards.
