Tomas2007
Hello, is there any review with IOPS benchmarks for Corsair Extreme 64GB, or could someone share their results? I found IOPS for 256GB http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=367&Itemid=60&limit=1&limitstart=7 - but as 64 has lower speed, the results would be a bit different. I'm considering to buy one and I would like to see the quality on this (or on general usage as they put it here http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=766&type=expert&pid=7 ) compared to some competitors. Thank you.
boerenlater
Hey, I thought to be a nice guy and did what you asked. In comparison my other ssd and my two Western Digital 160gb WD1600YS in raid0. http://i50.tinypic.com/11ujpd4.png http://i46.tinypic.com/6qktip.png http://i45.tinypic.com/2dvppfm.png

Tomas2007
Thank you very much for this boerenlater, this helps! Interestingly some of your results are slightly better than for 256 tested under the link above, probably there are other things - than the declared sequential read speed (240 vs. 220) - that matter (and which could be about the same for both models at least for read operations) when it comes to IOPS. boerenlater
Ofcourse the X128 and X256 have a higher write- and read speed.
Tomas2007
Yeah, but actually my point was that your "slower" 64 has some IOPS results better than the "faster" 256 (at least when comparing these two tests - of course some config difference may matter). So that's good in this case :D:
