coutinho
I have 12 modules of 2GB DDR3 1066 memory (CM72DD2G1066 G) in a ASUS Z8PE-D12 motherboard, but BIOS says that "Usable memory" is only 16GB and Linux sees only 16GB too. This motherboard has leds to indicate bad memory modules, but no led light up and the option "System Information" in BIOS setup show that it detected all modules correctly. I upgraded the BIOS, but the problem persisted. How can I make the Z8PE-D12 motherboard see all my memory?
Wired
If it recognizes each stick by itself in the same slot, then it's not a bad stick. More likely a bad slot or bad memory controller in one of the CPUs.
