PCan2
Hello. I ordered a set of new moduls for my pc that looking back is not on te Memory list for my mobo or processor. The store claims its sutable for Core i7, 240 Pin. (see title). (I have a i7 920) In the bios FD7 a function XMP is availeble. So it could work just fine. Please tell me, is it wise to try and what are te most save settings for my bios? If its not wise to enable XMP can i run on auto? Do i have to set VDIMM to 1,65V or dues it run well enough on 1,5V? Yellowbeard
Go to this link and click the resources tab: http://www.corsair.com/products/xms3/default.aspx Your memory requires 1.65 to run. In this case, you should have the best results by using the XMP profile as it will set the memory timings and voltage automatically.
