SugoE
Hi, does the P128 has a temp sensor, i have found no tool which can read temperature values. Joe
Davyc
SSDs generate so little heat there would be little or no use for a temp sensor; if it gets too hot then it will most likely be an electrical fault at the root of the overheat and the drive would probably just pop - then you would be looking at an RMA if its still in warranty :-) Of course internal heat in your case could result in the drive getting "warm", but if you have adequate ventilation for your case then this would not be an issue. JoeSchmuck
That brings up a curious question, does the drive (I have the P128) support S.M.A.R.T.? No answer required as I'll check it out the next time I get a chance.
SugoE
Yes, it supports S.M.A.R.T but it's hard to find a tool which reads out the values correctly. Would be good if corsair provide such a tool or publish there proprietary extensions. Joe
