backroger
Hi... I would like to know if I let this be but upon checking the BIOS of the DRAM, it report a voltage of 1.8v either using "Auto" or forcing it to "1600". The rest of the "TweakIT" setting are all on "Auto" Currently, it is stable played CrysisWARHEAD and any other games. Even EVEREST Stability Test it is OK. Problem is....Is the memory voltage rating normal @ 1.8v? Everest is currently reporting it at running 1600 speed but the timing is off 9-9-9-24 or wait my memory to be fried? Wired
No, max voltage is 1.65v. The memory's rated higher than that, but it's not recommended to go past 1.65v on a Core i7 platform so you don't damage the memory controller in the CPU.
