Legionx Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 My motherboard is the P5Q-Deluxe and i currently have TWIN2X2048-6400C4D 4-4-4-12 now if i were to install these with TWIN2X4096-6400C4DHX 4-4-4-12 to get a total of 6 GB would this be possible? or am i going to experience problems? Wired Posted November 22, 2009 Share Posted November 22, 2009 Could work, but keep in mind you're mixing memory of different sizes with different ICs. It's not guaranteed. Best to replace what you have with one pack (e.g. a 4 GB or 8 GB pack). What OS do you have, and is it 32 bit or 64 bit? Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
