Spike101
Hiya, I have a VoyagerMini 4GB that has taken a knock while in a laptop, the device as snapped in two right at the end of the gold connectors that go into the USB socket. Not good. :[pouts: This device is tiny and there are no visible PCB tracks to which temporary USB connections can be made to read the data. The device is not even made on a traditional PCB, it's more like a resin covered 'substrate'. The only saving grace might be the 6 gold pads at the other end of the device. Does anyone know if these pads map to the USB connectors or could they be used to recover the data from the device? My guess is they are used in the manufacturing/testing process, but may provide the 'emergency' connectivity I'm after. Cheers Spike
