M3T4LM4N222
I recently bought a Corsair H50 CPU cooler, and it came w/ the old plastic brackets, I was wondering if its at all possible to acquire the new mounting hit, so I can decrease my temperatures. Thanks.
Yellowbeard
The brackets have no impact at all on temperatures. The newer kit is available on our website at the Corsair store.

I am looking for the LGA 1366 bolt-through looking ones. I have an all plastic kit, the one you mount using screws.

The amount of tension it places on the block is the same as the new system. There is no temp difference that can be attributed to the mouting bracket and back plate.
