javagrendel
Hi, My new rig is an AMD Phenom X4 system on an Asus M478T-E. I purchased and installed Corsair CMX8GX3M4A1600C9 4x2GB. Now my system won't even do a POST. Doing a search for compatibility suggests the memory and mobo are not compatible. Is there any way to use the memory I purchased or do I need to replace it? Thanks in advance.
Tifone
Try with one memory bank only and see if the system boot! i Had the same problem with my system, but I succeeded to boot it with one memory bank, then I have put a newer BIOS version on a FAT32 formatted memory stick and updated the BIOS. From that moment never had a problem, and my system see 8GB of ram
