errut
the corsair x128 is often not regcognized by the bios version 2301( which is the latest) on a asus p5q deluxe mb. i use the ssd as system disk with win7 64bit together with two conventional disks in raid0. i have to pull the power cord for some minutes before i can restart my system successfully. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 10, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 10, 2009 Was the drive working previously and can you test the drive on another system to be sure?
errut
it was working before and is working again. i am still testing with better sata-cables and changing connectors. maybe downgrade the bios-version in order to exclude external deficiencies. errut
the problem occurred again, although i had changed the sata connector position.i had a bsod after wake-up from energy saving, which incidently is more frequent under win7 than on vista. i have presently no ssd. lets see if a completes hut down with everthing off will help. errut
since i have replaced the ssd, which contains the system. can i play back the system to the ssd once it is returned? or do i loose too much of its potential performance?

JoeSchmuck
What was the turn around or were you shipped a replacement up front? And please post if your problem is solved. Curious since I have Windoze 7 as well. Thanks, Joe
errut
it`s got at least a new partnumber and everything was sealed . it is a D1 , i think the other one had only D. Just another funny thing : on the bill of the oid ssd was a remark: please turn off AHCI mode, which of course i`m currently using. i don`t know if it is still fw-version 1.
