Thaidog
I have now my second pair of TWIN2X4096-8500C5D - Retail on a second brand new mobo with a second brand new cpu that is now giving memory errors with memtest86 and will blue screen win 7 64bit if the system runs for too long. The first mobo I had was a M3N WS and I sent it back along with the original 955 BE cpu - now all the parts in my system are brand new and I am still getting these memory errors. This is driving me crazy. Do these dimms have to be air cooled? (They did not come with a fan) The case door is off and the cpu is water cooled. The sticks seem to be very delicate. If I turn the system off and drain the power and then run memtest86 the sticks usually pass... then I boot in to the os for a while and then reboot and run memtest86 and then I get errors again. What is going on?

Yellowbeard
Some AMD CPUs will not run memory stable at 1066 no matter what settings you enter. Please list all of the BIOS settings you have made for memory, CPU, and voltages.
