42qn30
My old memory has been flaky for a while now and yesterday it bit the dust. I decided to get Corsair memory for my MB but in the rush of everything I got memory with a 1600FSB. My MB can only go up to 1333FSB. Can anyone provide me with any insight on how I can run this properly. I've done a lot of reading about the MB and it seems like a good candidate for OC'ing a little. I just looking for a breakdown on all the terminology and safe voltages. I know about the stress tests a little, but not a lot. this link seemed to shed a little light on the situation but it doesn't include the memory I now have. http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=81035 Thanks. 42qn30
It's not Corsair memory. I've decided to try something new. I've read a lot of good reviews so I made the switch and upgrade to TW3X4G1600C9D. I just want to run it right b/c it not as much fun stock. Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted November 4, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted November 4, 2009 With that MB the fastest you can run the memory would be DDR1333 unless you over clock the CPU.
