Hi all,

i've that kit of ram for my system.

My mainboard is a P5E3 Deluxe Wifi with Intel E6850 processor.

With the last bios (beta) and stable version, the SPD read from the memory is very different from the label.

The system run that module at 1066 Mhz and with wrong timing.

I should modify it manualy and all appear work fine, but all program recnognize wrong that kit (memtest, cpu-z, lavasys everest).

I think is a mainboard / bios problem, but today i've buy another kit TWIN3X2048-1333C9 and from bios and tool all is correctly configurated.

The OS (windows 7) score is veriy different and all are recognize from SPD (all auto).

I think i've a problem with that kit.

NB : The new kit have different version of ram. The firt bank have version 9.1 with code 6594097 09390014. The second bank have version 2.2 with code 6528999 09380105. The old kit have all same version (3.1) and code are equal (09022191).

The first bank alone, show as 1066Mhz and the setting about the timing in the bios (default configuration) is :

1st Information : 7-7-7-20-4-60-8-4

2nd Information : 8-4-6-4-7-4-7

After i try to set the DRam Voltage to 1.60 (as indicate on the bank) and the status don't change.

The second bank alone, show as 1066Mhz with equal setting about the first bank of ram.

The new kit as correctly show as 1333Mhz (take from SPD with default Bios configuration) and the timing setting is :

1st Information : 9-9-9-24-5-74-10-5

2nd Information : 10-5-5-4-7-4-7

It's never recommended to mix part numbers or ICs or version numbers. Return the TWIN3X2048-1333C9 since it's clearly not even a matched pair.

That was the module i found in the kit.

I think there is an issue but the reseller told me isn't an issue and for him all work fine :( !

What can i do in this status ?
