ecca
I have TR3X6G1333C9 and have a similar problem and I too would request the correct BIOS settings. I can't get any one of the 3 memory chips to boot up at all, in any configuration. I have to use a cheap DDR3 ram chip to boot up, I originally bought 8 gig but Windows wouldn't start with 8 gig and kept trying to repair itself. It runs on one chip and that's the only way it will run. I thought that buying 6 gig of matched Corsair memory would cure it but I can't get any action at all. If I plug in any of the memory modules the fans start.... and stop..... and start.... and stop ad infinitum. It doesn't even get to the BIOS boot up. When you say what BIOS settings , which in particular do you mean ? Please help, Cheers Eric Thacker

Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 28, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 28, 2009 We can try replacing the modules but what you have posted would suggest some other problem, please use the On Line RMA Request Form and we will be happy to replace it. ecca
Thanks for response Ram guy... I've reseated the CPU to no avail. I notice in the BIOS that the memory frequency is 1066meg and set to 'Auto' My memory sticks are all 1333meg. Is this relevant ? Cheers again, Eric Thacker
