issue with returned RAM followin RMA

Hi guys,

I am writing to you following this previous thread:

http://forum.corsair.com/v3/showthread.php?t=80623

I have received back my brand RAM. Thank you about that.

Because of hight workload and holidays, it took me a while before being able to install them back into my PC.

I have tried since a few days but without success.

Here is my current issue:

I have previous 2x1Go that are working perfectly and that you did not changed.

XMS2-8500 1024MB 1066Mhz 5-5-5-15 2.10V ver 2.1 08160617

I have my two brand new 2x1Go that you changed me.

XMS2-8500 1024MB 1066Mhz 5-5-5-15 2.10V ver 4.3 08160617

If I "plug" only my two old RAM, it works perfectly.

If I "plug" only my two brand new RAM, it works perfectly.

But if I plug the four RAM, the PC does not boot.

In fact nothing happen... The fans are just noisy, the dvd led switches on and off (as usual), but not keyboard led are switched on, and nothing is displayed on the screen.

And stays like this for "ever" ...

But pluging them only two by two works perfectly...

Is there an incompatibility between version 2.1 and 4.3 ?

Any other idea ?

Thank you very much for your support.

Have a nice day.

Regards,

Boobeat.

I am sorry but no and mixing memory is not supported, did you try installing two modules in the other two slots A2 and B2 for example to be sure it is not a problem with the slots?

And what where the settings you had set when you installed 4 modules"

I would suggest DDR667 at 2.1 Volts and set the NB/MCH Voltage to +.2 Volts as well.
