CraigTX
Is there any reason I can't mount the radiator directly to my aluminum case with a push fan on the outside and a pull fan on the inside? This is a Lian-Li case and long ago, I cut a 120mm wide-open hole so the airflow is not restricted by the perforations. For that matter, isn't it possible that having the radiator attached directly to the aluminum case provides additional thermal transfer? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 19, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 19, 2009 There should be no problem doing a push pull configuration the way you have described. In some systems this may be the only way to set up a push pull.
rogue71
there should be almost no difference with the way you installed it. cutting out the 120mm fan grill was a good idea as they tend to restrict airflow to begin with.
