jobobo
After enquiring about what is happening with my returned memory I have received the following reply: Returned Product: TWINX2048-3200C2 G Potential/Alternate Replacement: TWINX2048-3200PT G Checked the memory configurator and the replacement is not listed as being compatible with my motherboard. http://www.corsair.com/configurator/product_results.aspx?id=3742 What is the difference between my original and the replacement, and will it work in my motherboard? Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 19, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 19, 2009 The part is compatible with that MB it was just removed because they are no longer in production. The new part is the only DDR1 modules still available and would be Cas 3-3-3-8.

Thanks for the answer RAM GUY I was hoping with the lifetime warranty I would get the same as I had before, but I guess if it's the only one it is better than nothing! Corsair Employees RAM GUY Posted October 19, 2009 Corsair Employees Share Posted October 19, 2009 If the parts are available then yes we will replace them for the same part, but if the IC's are no longer in production there is not a lot we can do.
